Wiz Kids will try to be a leader in corporate responsibility and sustainable business practices. Just as we are committed to integrity, reliabilty and quality customer support, we are also deeply committed to the world we live in. It only makes sense that we all do our part to keep the planet healthy for ourselves and those that follow us.

Most decisions we make every day have an environmental impact. As consumers, we make decisions every day about what we buy. We might select a product because it's less expensive, has a brand we are familiar with, or because we think it will last longer than the alternative product.

However these days many of us also want to make our purchasing decision based on positive environmental factors.  Because different products have different environmental impacts it is important to be able to select products that are better from an environmental point of view.

The problem is it's often hard to know which product is better for the environment. If you go shopping it can be quite difficult to make a decision with the environment in mind. The information just isn't there and some manufacturers make claims their products simply don’t support.

We hope that we can provide you with simple ways to identify environmentally preferable products.  Products that meet voluntary standards for environmental impact, social responsibility and fitness for purpose in a wide range of product categories. And products or services that can save you time, money or scarce resources.

Solar Power

Are you interested in renewable energy?  It may interest you to know that you can now get a complete solar energy system for a fraction of retail cost.

How?

You can build your own solar panels from home and most of the parts can be found from your local hardware store. If you're interested take a look at these build plans:

These are the best plans to build a solar panel that I have found and I'm sure you will love it.  Also, they have some easy to follow videos.

To a cleaner future,
